Belongs within: Aculearia.
The Albaillellata are a group of radiolarians known from the Middle Ordovician to the Early Triassic, distinguished by the possession of a bilaterally symmetrical skeleton (Afanasieva et al. 2005).
Characters (from Afanasieva et al. 2005): Bilaterally symmetrical, with elongated, mainly conical skeleton with pylome. Internal frame formed by fusion of two initial four-rayed spicules and by development of spines a, b, and i in one plane, but either initial H-shaped subparallel development of spines a and i, connected by spine b at base of skeleton, or by development of subsagittal closure (r) of spines a and i in apical part of skeleton.
