Enteletoidea

Contains: Linoporellidae, Enteletidae, Schizophoriidae, Draboviidae.

The Enteletoidea are a lineage of brachiopods known from the Lower Ordovician to the Upper Permian (Harper 2000).

Characters (Harper 2000): Commonly subequally biconvex; costellate ornament commonly with aditicules; notothyrial platform reduced or absent, developed as variable cavity; cardinalia normally with simple, rarely lobate, crenulated myophore and shaft; brachiophores high and long, commonly tusklike with plates usually convergent in earlier taxa; fulcral plates normally present.
