Belongs within: Anthomyiidae.

Hylemya is a genus of anthomyiid flies with three pairs of postsutural dorsocentral bristles, no hairs on the katepimeron, and aristae with the longest hairs longer than the first antennal flagellomere (Huckett 1987).
