Loeblichiinae

Equatorial section of Pojarkovella pennarroyensis, from Cózar (2002).

Belongs within: Loeblichiidae.

The Loeblichiinae are a lineage of fusulinids with a tendency to loss of sutures, evolute coiling and chomata known from the mid-Visean to lower Namurian stages of the lower Carboniferous. Various types of wall are present, from microgranular to granular (Cózar & Vachard 2001).
