Metagonyleptes

Belongs within: Gonyleptidae.

Metagonyleptes is a genus of gonyleptid harvestmen found in southern Brazil.

Characters (from Soares & Soares 1949): Ocular tubercle with two spines. Areas I and II of dorsal scutum with two tubercles, III with two tubercles or spines, IV unarmed. Free Tergites I, II or III with a median tubercle or spine. Anal operculum unarmed. Femur of palps unarmed. Tarsus I 6-segmented, other tarsi with more than 6 segments.
