
Belongs within: Papilionoideae.
The Ormosieae are a clade of leguminous plants that are most diverse in northern South America with species of Ormosia also found in southeast Asia and northern Australia. Members of the clade have mostly dehiscent pods with woody valves (Cardoso et al. 2013).
