Peltidiidae

Belongs within: Palinarthra.

The Peltidiidae are a group of harpacticoid copepods in which the maxiliped bears a pedestal, the epimeral plates of the free prosomites are laterally expanded, the simming legs are elongated, and the setae of the caudal rami are short (Seifried 2003).
