Graphipterus serrator, copyright Hectonichus.

Belongs within: Harpalinae.

They are often found in association with ants and larvae of some species are physogastric inquilines in ant nests (Lawrence & Britton 1991). The majority of genera in this group are ovoviviparous (Baehr 2008). They may be related to the Graphipterini, a mostly African group with large eyes and long tibial spurs.
