Pupoides is a genus of very small snails found in tropical or subtropical regions, typically characterised by the presence of a single tooth near the top of the aperture (Stanisic et al. 2010). This tooth is small or absent in species of the subgenus Ischnopupoides.
Characters (Stanisic et al. 2010): Shell very small, elongately conical, sinistral or dextral, smooth; aperture ovate with a single upper parietal denticle; outer lip strongly reflected; umbilicus a narrow chink. Colour waxy brown.
