
Belongs within: Chthoniidae.
The Tyrannochthoniini are a group of chthoniid pseudoscorpions with very thin cuticle on the anterior part of the carapace (Harvey 2009).
Characters (Harvey 2009): Dorsal surface of chelal hand bearing one or two rows of chemosensory setae; coxal spines present on coxae II only; intercoxal tubercle absent; cuticle of anterior part of carapace very thin; submedian setae of anterior row of carapace absent; lamina superior broad, strongly fimbriate; spinneret of movable finger of chela absent or low tubercle; trichobothria ib and isb situated slightly proximad of middle of chelal palm; sensilla p1 and p2 of movable chelal finger not contiguous; male sternite III elongate medially with very long notch.
