Zetomimus

Belongs within: Ceratozetoidea.

Zetomimus is a genus of oribatid mites found in aquatic habitats in temperate regions of Eurasia and the Americas.

Characters (from Balogh & Balogh 1992a): Prodorsum with well-developed lamellae; cuspis extremely long, as long as remainder of lamella; translamella absent. Notogaster with ten pairs of setae; four pairs of areae porosae; [teromorphae immovable. Six pairs of genital setae; one pair of aggenital setae; two pairs of anal setae; three pairs of adanal setae. Legs monodactyle, or legs I and II monodactyle, III and IV tridactyle.
