Presbytis, surilis, is a southeast Asian genus of leaf-eating monkeys with short muzzles and undeveloped brow ridges (Brandon-Jones 1984).
Characters (Brandon-Jones 1984): Longitudinal crest; brow ridges usually poorly developed or absent; bridge of nose convex; muzzle short; projection on inner face of relatively broad, underjetted lower incisors; lower third molar with fifth cusp usually reduced or absent, upper third molar with cusp development variable; fore arm relatively long; coat of newborn whitish.
