Plagiogramma is a genus of quadrangular diatoms, often forming chains.

Characters (Crosby & Ferguson Wood 1959): Frustules quadrangular, free or in chains; valves costate, costae central, sometimes also terminal or absent; striae transverse; central space and ends usually hyaline.
