The Zygopleuridae are slender-shelled gastropods known from the Triassic and Jurassic periods (Knight et al. 1960).
Characters (Knight et al. 1960): Shell slender; protoconch smooth, of up to about three regularly increasing whorls; ornament narrow collabral riblets, sometimes with parasigmoid curve; subordinate spiral ornament occasionally present.
