Frieleiidae

Belongs within: Rhynchonellida.

The Frieleiidae are a group of generally triangular brachiopods known from the Eocene to the present (Ager et al. 1965).

Characters (Ager et al. 1965): Usually capillate to costellate, triangular; dental plates strong, spinulifer crura short and straight, septalium small.
