Amolops is a genus of relatively long-legged frogs associated with fast-flowing streams in eastern Asia. Adults have a short first metacarpal; tadpoles have lateral glands, four or more uninterrupted lower labial keratodont rows, and a raised, sharply defined abdominal sucker (Frost et al. 2006).
