Glyphochilus is an Australian genus of click beetles with a well-developed membranous lobe under the fourth tarsomere. The head has a distinct frontal carina extending across the frons between the antennal sockets, with a distinct region between the frontal carina and the labrum, and the female genitalia consists of a tubular bursa copulatrix (Calder 1996).
