Lagena is a Jurassic to Recent genus of mostly unilocular foraminiferans (Loeblich & Tappan 1964).

Characters (Loeblich & Tappan 1964): Test unilocular, rarely two or more chambers; surface variously ornamented; aperture on elongate neck which may have phialine lip, not radiate.
