Belongs within: Planorbulinida.

The Planorbulinidae are an Eocene to Recent group of attached foraminiferans (Loeblich & Tappan 1964).

Characters (Loeblich & Tappan 1964): Test attached, early stage trochospiral, lateral with numerous chambers forming discoidal, cylindrical, conical or subglobular test; aperture single or multiple, peripheral.
