The Anomphalinae are a group of gastropods known from the Early Devonian to the Carboniferous or Permian (Peel 1984).
Characters (Peel 1984): Aperture near tangential, outer lip generally prosocline. Umbilicus often partially closed by callus, occasionally possessing a narrow circumbilical funicle.
