Clarkellidae

Belongs within: Pentamerida.

The Clarkellidae are a family of small to medium-sized brachiopods known from the Upper Cambrian and Ordovician (Amsden & Biernat 1965).

Characters (Amsden & Biernat 1965): Shells small or moderate in size; smooth or costellate; with spondylium simplex; septa of brachial valve discrete, divergent.
