Fabulariidae

Belongs within: Miliolina.

The Fabulariinae are a group of miliolid Foraminifera known from the Upper Cretaceous to the present, in which the interior is complex, with chambers subdivided into chamberlets, and there are multiple apertures. Species of the type genus Fabularia have a thick wall with the surface ornamented by fine striae and punctations (Loeblich & Tappan 1964).
