The Stoastomatinae are an assemblage of terrestrial neritimorphs found in Asia and the Neotropics (Knight et al. 1960).
Characters (Knight et al. 1960): Lateral teeth of radula normally with mushroom-shaped T-lateral and reduced accessory plate; marginals many, mostly multicuspid.
